Every quarter, WiCyS gives all participants one realistic cybersecurity challenge. Teams of 3–5 build their own technical solution to that problem over 8 weeks. Through workshops and mentorship, teams compete to solve the brief and demo their project at Demo Day to industry judges.

DEMO DAY
At the end of the quarter, every team presents what they built. Our judges are security professionals from local companies and big tech, along with faculty researchers here at UCI. There are prizes for the top teams, and you'll have a real project to talk about in interviews.
